From Stillwater, MN, a town located on the Minnesota side of the St. Croix River. He graduated from Stillwater High School before heading west to North Dakota State University in Fargo to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Soon after graduating, he started work at 3E Solutions, where he worked mainly with sugar beet companies to manage their waste products. While there his work consisted mostly of surveying, beet piling, site and landfill design, construction oversight, and pond cover installation.
During his free time, he likes to head to the gym for a semi-competitive pickup basketball game or lift weights. When at home, he likes to cook and read a good book.
