Katie graduated from Kansas State University, with a Master of Landscape Architecture from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design. Katie is a licensed landscape architect in the State of Colorado and has over 6 years of professional experience in the industry. Katie has worked on a wide variety of projects including, residential, commercial, multi-family and campus developments. She is responsible for project management including planning and design efforts, guiding clients through entitlement processes, and coordinating project teams. She has worked on many exciting projects in Colorado Springs such as, Colorado College’s campus planning and landscape design, Gold Hill Mesa’s neighborhood planning, and Flying Horse’s master planning and parks design. Katie is well-versed in navigating jurisdictional codes and requirements for development projects. She strongly believes in the importance of building client relationships in order to foster successful projects.

Personal Bio: Katie is a long-time resident of Colorado Springs. She attended Kansas State University with the hopes of becoming an architect. In the first year of her education, she learned about landscape architecture and knew it was the career path for her. Landscape architecture was the ideal discipline that combines her love of design, the outdoors and placemaking. Upon graduation from K-State, she returned home to work on a variety of design projects that enhance the community. In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling, golfing and working in her garden.
