Personal Bio: Ryan is a Native to Colorado, growing up in the small mining town of Cripple Creek. Growing up in the mountains at 10,000 ft. hunting and fishing were a big part of Ryan’s childhood. He was also involved in sports which include football, wrestling, and baseball. He spent his high school summers in California working in Landscape Construction. With this job, his passion for landscaping brought his profession to another level, studying Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University. After graduation he moved to California and was offered a foreman position for a Landscape Construction crew. After separating his shoulder playing baseball, he had to move on from the Construction field and get back into his degree. A couple weeks later Ryan landed a job at Smith and Smith Landscape Architecture in San Francisco, California working there for just over a year. After a friend told him about Altitude Land Consultants, Ryan applied and was offered a job closer to home and he moved back to Colorado.
