Personal Bio: After living in several cities in northern and southern California, Kristin spent a summer working on a dude ranch in the mountains of Colorado and decided this was a place where she could live. She relocated to Colorado in 1997 to enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and raise her two boys…the oldest now lives and works in Boulder and the youngest serves in the US Navy.
Kristin has designed over 350 projects. Most are in Colorado, but others can be found in California, Connecticut, Delaware, and Hawaii. These include a LEED platinum project, parade/model home projects, recreational parks, resorts, educational and religious institutions, development entryways and streetscapes, cemeteries, retail, industrial and commercial centers.
Her passions are in horticulture, permaculture, sustainability, environmental and social responsibility, and she takes an integrative, collaborative approach to achieving these goals. Always up for a challenge, she blends her client’s ideas with her creativity and vision to produce landscape designs that are unique, comprehensive, with materials and plants best suited for the site. “I use a palette of plants and trees combined with paving, walls, overhead structures, art, furnishings, fire and water features to create an outdoor experience for all seasons.”
In her free time, Kristin enjoys hiking, skiing, volleyball, yoga, veggie gardening, world traveling, and her pug named Captain Jack.
